About this game

Slide the board to combine equal numbered tiles. Each move shifts all tiles and adds a new tile. Keep space available while working towards 2048.

How to play

Use the arrow keys or swipe across the board. Equal tiles merge when they collide. New Game resets the board. Browser progress is stored locally.

Before leaving, check the game menu for a save option.

Before you play

Each move shifts the whole board, not one selected tile. Leave empty cells available and avoid moves that scatter your largest tiles. A merge can be useful even when it does not produce the largest possible number immediately, because it creates space for later moves.
